The Manatee Choice Dental Plan is sponsored for the employees of the Board of County Commissioners, Manatee Sheriff’s Office, Property Appraiser, Tax Collector and Housing Authority. ManateeChoice Dental Plan is owned by the participating Manatee County Employees and is 100% funded by the employees.

Manatee Choice Dental is administrated by a Third Party Administrator at the Manatee Service Center. The Plan is self Insured and 99% of the premiums paid by employees are used to pay claims.

The Manatee Health Network includes a group of Dentists who guarantee the Maximum Payable after the Plan’s Fee Schedule pays for dental services according to a Fee Schedule. The Fee Schedule is adjusted annually based upon the prior years experience.
