How to use HealthBucks
During Open Enrollment an employee may elect to use their Non-tobacco User Annual HealthBucks Bonus, and other earned HealthBucks during the Plan Year. The HealthBucks may be used to assist in paying for Dependent Medical or Dental Benefits, or to be placed in the employee’s Health Care Spending Account (HCSA) during the next Plan Year. Some families have earned more than $500 to reduce their cost for Medical or Dental benefits, or pay for other medical expenses from a Health Care Spending Account (HCSA).
HealthBucks are prorated monthly as long as the employee is employed by Manatee County Government and participating in the “YourChoice” Health Plan.
